IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND TERMS

   • Many of our classes will still be offered for enrichment purposes and can be purchased on
     an individual basis.

   • Sampler classes will be offered free of charge for those that “want to get a taste” for an      upcoming class or certificate series.

   • Monthly Reiki Shares and Energy Exchanges will be offered for a nominal fee.

   • Payment Plans for Certificate and Diploma Programs will be available.

   • Students who have already taken a class or a class series will have their credits transferred
     to the new Art of Healing School of Energy Medicine.

   • All Certificates from the Art of Healing Institute will be honored within the New curriculum
     of the Art of Healing School of Energy Medicine.

   • Students who wish to audit a class they have taken will be able to do so at a reduced rate
     as seats become available.

What is a Practice Credit Unit?
A practice credit unit equals one (1) hr of documented practice in the Certificate area of Study.
Documented practice will include filling out a Practice Credit Unit form for each practice session
conducted. Forms will be provided by the Art of Healing School of Energy Medicine. Practice is
usually conduced in a non-professional environment with fellow students, family and friends.

What is a Service Credit Unit?
A service credit unit equals one (1) hr. of documented service in the Certificate area of study.
This service will be provided free of charge to the community. Service Credits can be obtained
by providing Energy Therapy/Treatment services to community organizations, hospitals, nursing
homes and retirement facilities. Service Credit Units must be documented and will include filling
out a Service Credit Unit form for each session conducted. Forms will be provided by the Art of
Healing School of Energy Medicine. The Art of Healing School of Energy Medicine will provide
avenues to obtain Service Credit Units.

What is a Presentation Unit?
A Presentation Unit is completed when a student writes, and delivers a presentation that they
have written along with the required accompanying presentation outlines, workbooks and re-
lated materials. Each final presentation will be at least 1 hour in length but no more than 1 1/2
hours. Each student’s presentation will be delivered in front of fellow students and invited family,
friends and other senior students enrolled in the Art of Healing School of Energy Medicine.

REFUND POLICY
Full refunds or pro-rated refunds will be issued if a student incurs a medical emergency prior
to or during a classes series providing that he/she has a signed statement from their physician.
If a student has a non-medical emergency or a personal situation which enables them from
competing a class series, a full refund or a pro-rated refund may be issued in the form of a
credit towards a future class in the amount of their deposit, quarterly payment or payment in
full. Students may elect to take the same class or have the amount of their payment credited
toward another class of their choice as seating permits. A cash refund may be granted upon
written appeal, however, each refund granted will be subject to a $10 administrative fee.
